Melissa Independent School District is a public school district based in Melissa, Texas (USA).
In addition to Melissa, the district serves a small portion of Weston and McKinney.
In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
Melissa ISD has four academic campuses:
Melissa High School (Grades 9-12)
Melissa Middle School (Grades 7-8)
Melissa Ridge Intermediate School (Grades 5-6)
Harry McKillop Elementary School (Grades PK-4).
